Sightline Security Advances Its Mission with Support from Cisco Secure

Earlier today, Cisco Secure affirmed the inherent value that Sightline offers not only to nonprofits but the overall cybersecurity industry -- announcing its investment in our mission. Cisco’s purpose is to power an inclusive future for all. To help further that vision, we have recently invested in Sightline Security, a nonprofit that is bridging the gap between information security and charitable organizations. 

It is clear that Sightline's innovative approach to helping nonprofits assess and address their cybersecurity risk is perfectly aligned with Cisco Secure's efforts to address the need for democratizing cybersecurity through awareness, solutions, and expertise across various sectors.

This is an exciting time for Sightline, and this support is an excellent validation of our mission. With Cisco's support, we will further expand our Member Forum and accelerate the development, deployment, and testing of our online assessment tool. Best of all, this will significantly enhance our ability to reach the more than 1.5 million nonprofits in the United States looking to improve cybersecurity in their organizations.

We've said it before, but we will keep repeating it -- nonprofit and mission-based organizations are at a severe disadvantage when it comes to protecting against even the most common threats. Traditionally, these organizations have often been overlooked by the broader security industry and lack the resources and expertise to assess their requirements and identify the right tools and best practices. Sightline is changing this.
